Maïté Guérin is a professional dancer and teacher. She received artistic training at the Conservatoire national supérieur de danse de Lyon and the Rudra-Béjart school in Lausanne. After being actively involved with Maurice Béjart's company, "Compagnie M," she took the initiative to create the GOTRA dance company. Subsequently, she has taught in the Netherlands and Germany.
Currently, Maïté is the director of the Care to Dance program (under the auspices of Fit your Mind), which offers dance classes, specifically tailored for individuals with Parkinson's disease. In 2023, Care to Dance received the label of the Dance for PD® method, ensuring the quality of its project.
Maïté Guérin is far from being unknown, as we have had the opportunity to welcome her on several occasions at the Mosa Ballet School for training sessions and workshops.
She will be back on the 3rd and 4th of February to lead a training on teaching dance to people affected by Parkinson's disease. This training is intended for professionals (or confirmed enthusiasts) in the field of dance and movement.
