Maxime Laplanche began learning to dance at the age of 8. Trained at the New Espace Danse school in Namur until he was 17, he diversified and broadened his knowledge in contemporary, jazz, classical, hip-hop, ragga, choreographic workshop and other dances.By his final year of high school, he was practicing some twenty hours of dance a week, at which point he obtained his Baccalauréat en arts de la scène (Dance section).
From 2014 to 2018, he specializes in performance at the University of Professional Education for Music and Dance in Codarts, Rotterdam. He then worked on creations by numerous international choreographers, for Cirque du Soleil and for the Dance Holland Festival. In 2018, Maxime danced for De Stilte (Netherlands) and toured with over 150 performances.
For over 2 years, he has been teaching contemporary and classical technique at various schools in Wallonia. At present, Maxime is also part of the Soul15 company, which performs regularly throughout Belgium, and also dances for events (Tomorrowland...).
Since the beginnings of the Mosa Ballet School, Maxime has been a regular contributor to various activities, including dance workshops in nursing homes for Quand on Danse.
